Beyond the Bridge update in the healthcare industry: FACES 2015 Epilepsy Conference at NYU Langone Medical Center was held on Sunday April 26th. We were invited to return this year to give an experiential presentation and lecture entitled ‘Deep Breathing and Epilepsy’. It was well received by the audience of parents, adults, young adults and medical staff within the community. This unique opportunity to return for the second year was preceded by over five years of working with patients and their families affected by Epilepsy to utilize practical health techniques that include breathing exercises to balance the Nervous System, simple movements to release tension in body and mind and healing Sound to instill calm.
